We always celebrate the 4th at my sister's lake house in Arkansas. We have a
blast there. She has a boat, wave runners & all kinds of fun things to do.
We are really spoiled to have such a great place for our entire family to hang
out. We swim...go tubing...eat homemade ice cream...4 wheeling...fishing...
eat....walking...& just hang out.

What do you do on the 4th of July?
We usually spend it at my Mom and Dad's... in the pool and grilling out. We have a blast!! Love the pic of you guys!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child, we went to my Grandma's house in the country for fireworks, food and family fun.
Then, when I was a teenager, we went to a not too crowded beach.
Then, we have gone to my brother's house in the country.
This year, we grilled chicken, pork chops and hot dogs at home for lunch, before our daughter had to leave to go back to her job in the city.
Then, we met our oldest son and his family at my Mom's house, half way between our homes. I took the layered Texmex dip I had made and chips, and our granddaughter called to ask us to stop to get the ingredients for S'mores!
We got Jack in the Box tacos.
Then, we had fun doing Sparklers with our 5 year old granddaughter!
Saw great fireworks display on our way home!
Still have some sparklers and fireworks to do when our daughter comes back home.
