Mother's Day

That's how my day started off...breakfast in bed. The kids love to bring you breakfast in bed when it's your bday or a special holiday. Dad helps out a little on this...and since it's Sunday and he needs to hustle  to church...he kept it simple. A sausage, egg & cheese croissant and a breakfast burrito...(shh..but the kids told me it was from QT by our house...lol) I don't care...it's the effort and love that went into it. I couldn't eat it all so I offered some to the kids...they were funny. They wouldn't take it until I made them because they didn't want to be rude and eat my breakfast. I thought that was sweet. The meal came with coffee...water & some super sweet cards they made me!
After church they gave me a couple of rose bushes...which is exactly what I wanted!! Oh sure you can give a girl a bouquet of roses...but give her a rose bush and she can have roses all the time! Yeah!!
I have always wanted a yellow rose bush
The other one is an orange color...excited about that one too!
Now I have 6 rose bushes! I love them! We ate lunch at my moms and then Matt & I had to head to the airport so our day was cut short. I am so blessed to be their mom. They are great kids. I miss them so much this week while I am in Tennessee. It's a joy to watch them grow up & I can't wait to watch where GOd leads them in their walk with him. Of all the things in life...having Godly children fills my heart with joy. I pray that I always lead them toward loving Jesus more everyday & choosing to love & serve Him. Hope all of you had a wonderful Mothers Day & I hope you know how you challenge me & encouragement to be a Great mom! Thanks!!
