See that cute cuddly sweet baby? Yep...that's my buddy Dawson. He's my purpose in going to Tennessee this week. See his mommy & daddy...Bobby & Liz... will be our Campus ministers at our new Stone Canyon Campus in August and they are undergoing a church planters assessment here in Johnson City, Tenn. Liz is nursing him so I will be taking him back & forth to her during the week. Dawson & I have big plans! We are going to play...go for walks...cuddle...sleep...cuddle...swim...cuddle & just whatever he wants to do really...did I mention cuddle?? I have to say...that is one thing I miss about my kids being little...is cuddling on the couch. (still happens...just not so much) I know, I know...it's going to be a long & exhausting week but someone had to sacrifice..Yea right!! He is one of the sweetest babies I know. So I hope all of you are enjoying your day. It's a beautiful day her in North Carolina...headed to Tennessee in a few. Yes..I survived the plane ride...almost puked when we landed in Dallas...lots of turbulence...last row in the plane...don't need say any more about that!
Well...off to do my job for the week...:)

It sounds like a super fun week for you! I'm sure Bobby & Liz are super thankful that they have someone they trust to care for Dawson. I know it's years away but does this get you thinking about how fun being a grandma will be?

ReplyDeleteI am just now getting to catch up on all your blogs since we left and they are cracking me up!! You did not do that plane ride justice girl.... IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!! I was trying to calm you down by saying flying was so easy, no big deal but I was about to puke my guts up too!! I LOVE YOU!!! Thank you for all your sweet words about Dawson and giving up your week for us because as fun as cuddling Dawson was, you had so much going on at home. I appreciate you so much!!
