Ty who?

Who needs Ty Pennington when you have Matt Thomason?
Matt's been wearing his Extreme Makeover shirt that we got when we volunteered while working on Lauren's bathroom. It just cracks me up so I thought I would share. Can I just tell you how hard this man of mine works? He can fix or build about anything...and you know what...I love that about him. My dad was the same way and I can't imagine being married to someone who isn't handy. Honesty...if he says he can't fix it I'm like...WHAT?  He works all day and comes home and works on things around our house and never complains. We are do-it-your-self-ers!! I am so proud of him in many ways and feel so blessed to have him as my "handy man".
How about your hubby...
Is he a "handyman"?

  1. People always seem surprised when I say Tim is a pretty good "handyman"... If he doesn't know how, he will either find out how, or enlist the help of someone who does. Love that!!

  2. You are indeed fortunate to have some one like that. Mine can do some things but is beginning to realize that sometimes it's better and quicker to pay someone else to do it for us. Age creeps in and really wears on you.

  3. Love the pic of Matt! My guy can do it all! Remodel a house completely, fix cars, appliances, electrician work, etc. growing up on a farm makes you handy! He doesn't have much free time, but when he retires he wants to build furniture :)

  5. My dear hubby tries and over the years has learned more...but I'm mostly looking for recommendations for handy men!! My dad can do ANYTHING, build ANYTHING so that was an adjustment for me!

  6. My hubby has become a handy man, it didn't come naturally but he has impressed me over the years.
I love that he also knows his limits... he'll hire work out if he knows he can't tackle it. Such a great balance.

  8. Have a handy man husband is sooo helpful! :) Plus you can save a ton of money doing it yourself. I need to send Ryan up there for "do it yourself" boot camp weekend. Go Matt.
