Did you know that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world? I have heard that in 2 different sermons this week. To me...that is scary on one hand and unacceptable on the other. Why as a Christian am I not doing more...and it challenges me to shine my light into the darkness more.
There is no way into God's fold...except thru Jesus. He is the Good Shepherd. But our world today wants you to think there are many ways and as long as those ways lead to God...then it's acceptable. It's a Burger King kinda mentality...Have it your way...or a buffet type of mindset...I'll take a little of this...but not that.
God has been challenging me to get out of my comfort zone and be a light. It has been repeated in every bible study I am doing...every sermon I have heard and in my quiet time with him. He has also challenged me to teach His word to our children...have it engraved into their hearts and minds and teach them to love and feed on His word. They are going to need it even more with the coming days.
Maybe you feel like wolves are all around you...but the Good shepherd hears you and assures you that nothing can snatch you out of His Crucified hands if you belong to Him. Doesn't that make you just feel blessed and loved to know that?
Question...can God whisper to you....or does he need surround sound? Are you taking the time to be still and listen to Him? His sheep know His voice and follow Him. I know I am working on this daily and I am so thankful he is patient with me.
Blessings,
p.s. Lauren had a great couple of days with no issues! Matt and I had our 2nd counseling session today...I will catch you up tomorrow.
