Having A Baby?!?!

How did having a baby change your life? It's been almost 13 years since we had our first baby and holy cow has it changed my life! I look at new mommas now and I just sit back and think...wow...your life is about to change! There is so much joy that comes out of holding that new baby for the first time. You are so in love with this little person! You know...there are tough days too...when they don't sleep all night...when they are sick...and you just don't know what to do...but you would do anything to make them feel better. Then they grow up and they still bring you so much joy...but there can be days of heartache also mixed up in there also.

But I ask you...how has the birth of Baby Jesus changed your life? Many of us say...tell me what I have to do to enter your kingdom, but don't ask me to surrender my life to you. If there is one person I can't wait to sit and chat with in Heaven it's Mary...I want to ask her what kind of baby Jesus was...did he cry...sleep all night...never talk back to you as he grew (but I think I really know the answer)? How amazing to be the mother of our Lord and Saviour!! WOW!!

Being a mom is a true gift from God...but it isn't always easy for me to be the mom God called me to be. All three of their births changed my life in different ways. But there is only One who's birth changed the world...JESUS CHRIST! Thank you Lord for sending your Son as a baby in a manger to save us from our sins!

So...how has the Birth of Christ changed your life, have you surrendered you life to Him?

Luke 1:76-78
"And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven"
